"Strange Screen" participants can be creators from all over the world who take action in experimental video, creative documentary, video art, animation and new media.
Entry criteria
- Entries should fit in the above frame of figural searching, experimentation, directness and abstraction.
- Entries must be submitted on MiniDV and DVD. All works are screened from MiniDV.
- Maximum running time for the videos is 30' (minutes).
- Productions must have been completed within the last two years (2008-2010)
- Entrants can submit only one entry for the competition part.

- Detailed synopsis of the work submitted
- Director's biography and filmography

Selection
All selection of video/film is made by the Strange Screen curatorial committee.
Awards
Strange Screen is a curated, competitive festival. Although it may depend on the submissions, there are four established awards: 1st and 2nd Best Experimental Video and 1st and 2nd Best Creative Documentary.
Return of DVD/Promotional Materials
Preview DVD and promotional material will not be returned. Preview DVD and screening copy MiniDV of work accepted for the festival will become part of the Strange Screen archive.
